At Explore Himalayan Tour, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be fair and transparent for all our customers.
1. Cancellation by Customer
If you wish to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply:
- 30 days or more before departure: 10% of total booking amount
- 15–29 days before departure: 25% of total booking amount
- 7–14 days before departure: 50% of total booking amount
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of total booking amount (No refund)
2. No Show Policy
If a customer does not show up at the scheduled time without prior notice, no refund will be provided.
3. Cancellation by Company
In rare cases, Explore Himalayan Tour may cancel a trip due to:
- Natural disasters
- Weather conditions
- Government restrictions
- Insufficient bookings
In such cases:
- You will receive a full refund, OR
- You may choose an alternative date/package
4. Refund Processing
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days
- The amount will be credited to the original payment method
- Payment gateway charges (if any) may be deducted
5. Partial Payments
- Booking amount is non-refundable
- Remaining balance must be paid before the trip start date
- Cancellation charges apply on total package cost, not just the paid amount
6. Amendments / Rescheduling
- Date changes are subject to availability
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 10 days prior
- Additional charges may apply
7. Special Cases
- During peak seasons or special offers, different cancellation rules may apply
- These will be clearly mentioned at the time of booking
